author: Наталья Аверкиева

One of the rulers of the world of Destiana asks the mages of the Interworld to break the curses placed on a five-year-old girl so that the priests of the goddess of death and chaos, Mortena, cannot use her in their rituals. However, the plan proposed by the Destians does not sit well with Melisa Rice, Director of the Department for Special Affairs of the Interworld, and Markus Shane, Head of the Investigative Department of the Destiana Magic Police. Defying the agreement, they decide to transport the child to the Interworld secretly, and the cursed child is to be escorted by detective and mage Melvin Rice. But a simple assignment ends up turning into massive trouble and threatens to escalate into a serious interworld scandal.
